Privacy policy · September 29, 2026

Your tools, your choice.

NotePier is a public study and arcade site. Most study tools and Sudoku can be used as a guest. Signing in is optional for those tools; the FloodZone private alpha requires the owner's account.

Information used

Study progress and active game state are saved in your browser's local storage. You can remove that local information through your browser's site-data controls. If you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your account email address, authentication credentials or Google sign-in details, and account identifier. NotePier uses that identity to manage sign-in and optional account features. It does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google files.

If you choose to publish a Sudoku best time, NotePier stores the gamer tag you choose and the associated game result in Cloud Firestore. The public score board displays the gamer tag and result, not your Google profile name, email address, or photo. Choosing not to publish a score leaves public study and Sudoku play available.

Services and access

GitHub Pages hosts the public website; Google Firebase handles optional authentication and Firestore scores. Those providers may process technical information such as IP address and browser details under their own policies. NotePier does not sell your account or study information. The current private alpha is limited to the owner's authenticated account.

Retention and choices

Browser-saved progress stays on your device until you clear it. Account and published score records can remain until removed. To ask about your account data or request deletion, email junction-notepier-support@googlegroups.com. Requests may require identity verification before account data is changed.
